About the Firm

Half a century of settled practice in UK immigration law — the same values, quietly maintained.

Our heritage

Serving clients since 1974

UK Direct Solutions was founded in the year the modern immigration rules took shape, and we have practised without interruption ever since. From the offices at Lincoln’s Inn Fields, our solicitors have represented students, spouses, workers and businesses through every reform — from the Immigration Act 1971 to the points-based system of today.

We remain deliberately traditional. A partner takes personal charge of your matter, correspondence is thorough, and our advice is given in plain terms. It is an approach that has kept clients — and their children — returning to us for fifty years.

Our principles

The values that have not changed

Discretion

Immigration matters are personal. Your affairs are handled confidentially and with the utmost care.

Rigour

Applications are prepared meticulously, anticipating the caseworker’s every question before it is asked.

Continuity

A named solicitor stays with your matter from first consultation to final decision.

Candour

We tell you where you stand plainly — including when an application should not be made.

Fixed fees

Fees are agreed in writing before work begins, so there are no surprises.

Regulation

We are solicitors regulated by the SRA, bound by the profession’s highest standards.
