Family Visas

The family routes allow partners, children and certain relatives of British citizens and settled persons to live in the United Kingdom. These applications are evidence-heavy and unforgiving of error; our solicitors prepare them with corresponding care.

Routes we advise upon

Spouse & partner visas

For those married to, in a civil partnership with, or living with a British or settled partner. We advise on the relationship requirement, the financial requirement, English language and accommodation.

Fiancé(e) & proposed civil partner visas

For those coming to the UK to marry or form a civil partnership within six months, before switching into the partner route.

Parent of a child in the UK

For a parent with access to, or responsibility for, a child living in the UK, where the partner route does not apply.

Children

Applications for dependent children to join or accompany a parent, including sole responsibility and serious-and-compelling-circumstances cases.

Adult dependent relatives

For a parent, grandparent or other adult relative requiring long-term personal care that can only be provided in the UK. A demanding route on which experienced advice is essential.
